The Certificate of Bat Acoustics Analysis is an online course providing you with a Certificate of Completion, & if you wish, in addition, a graded assessment. The course caters for the bat species encountered within Britain & Ireland. To find out more see below, or click on the demo video.

What Is The Process?

• Sign Up for Technician Level course at any time
• You have 9 months to complete the training programme
• Progress through 14 modules (>15 hours of material)
• Covers sound analysis of Full Spectrum (FS) recordings
• British Isles Species (19) catered for
• Any queries – ‘Ask Us Anytime’
• Having worked through the modules, collect your ungraded Certificate of Completion
• Book & take a graded assessment (Jan, Apr, Jul & Oct annually)
  For this assessment you will need software capable of analysing non-software specific, full spectrum .wav files

• If you pass the graded assessment you will receive a further certificate (Graded A, B or C)
• Wish to Improve Your Grade? – Sign Up to be re-assessed (e.g. 3, 6, 9 or 12 months later)
  As well as giving you a further assessment, this also gives you access to the course content for another 9 months
• Having achieved Technician Level (Grade A or B), as well as 3 seasons (min) bat acoustics analysis experience, apply for the Auditor course (details below)

• If you are signing up a delegate other than yourself, then please use the delegate’s details/email address as opposed to your own
